As a product designer at Unity, I conducted user research to map and understand the project configuration workflows and developer experience of XR creators. Findings for this research led to a redesign of the platform configuration workflow as well as the creation of new templates and examples with project settings preconfigured to expedite the setup process. I worked with engineers, designers and artists to collaboratively drive the project contents and art direction, as well as doing hands-on design, 3D modeling and prototyping for various components, environments and interactions. The resulting examples and templates resulted in media coverage by XR YouTubers that drove thousands of new projects to be created with these contents.
